Job Overview


Gamut HR Solutions is seeking a Banquet Coordinator to join our team. As a Banquet Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of our banquet events. This includes planning, organizing, and executing banquets to ensure a successful and memorable experience for our clients and guests. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in banquet coordination.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience as a Banquet Coordinator or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of banquet operations and event management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide excellent service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of banquet events, including planning, organizing, and executing
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their needs are met
  • Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events
  • Handle event logistics, such as room setup, audiovisual equipment, and decorations
  • Prepare and communicate event timelines and details to all parties involved
  • Ensure all banquet operations comply with health and safety regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during events
  • Maintain accurate records of events, including attendance, expenses, and feedback
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovative event concepts
