We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Banquet Sales Manager to join our team at our prestigious 5-star resort. The Banquet Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our banquet and event business. This role involves selling and coordinating events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and exceeding revenue targets. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Identify potential clients and proactively sell the resort's banquet and event services.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals, including upselling packages and services.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
  1. Event Coordination:
  • Work closely with clients to plan and coordinate events, including weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, and other social gatherings.
  • Assist clients in choosing event spaces, menu selections, and additional services to meet their specific needs.
  • Ensure that all details are meticulously organized and executed to create memorable events.
  1. Venue Presentation:
  • Showcase event venues within the resort to potential clients, highlighting the facilities and services available for their events.
  • Collaborate with the resort's marketing team to create marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  1. Pricing and Contracts:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements for clients, ensuring that terms and conditions are clear and agreed upon.
  • Negotiate and close deals while maintaining profitability for the resort.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including catering, culinary, and event planning teams, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Communicate client requirements and event details to the relevant resort teams.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction throughout the event planning and execution process.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns promptly and professionally.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports, tracking revenue and conversion rates.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of banquet sales experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
  3. Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and effectively closing deals.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the luxury resort and hospitality industry.
  7. Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and event management tools.
  8. Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
