Job Description:ob Title: Corrosion EngineerLocation: Mumbai, IndiaExperience Required: 10–20 Years️ Industry: offshore oil and gasKey Responsibilities:Develop and implement corrosion management plans (CMP) for offshore structures, pipelines, and process systems.Conduct material selection, corrosion risk assessments, and life prediction studies for new and existing assets.Review and approve coating, cathodic protection (CP), and chemical treatment specifications.Monitor corrosion and inspection data to assess degradation trends and recommend corrective actions.Coordinate with inspection, maintenance, and operations teams for corrosion monitoring and mitigation activities.Support offshore surveys and integrity assessments, including internal and external corrosion evaluations.Prepare technical reports, inspection summaries, and recommendations for repair or refurbishment.Ensure compliance with industry standards (NACE, API, ISO) and client-specific corrosion control requirements.Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP sessions, and risk-based inspection (RBI) planning.Education Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
