Roles & Responsibilities:Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure these events are productive and adhere to SAFe and Scrum principles.Guide the team in applying Agile best practices and improving team dynamics.Mentor team members on effective collaboration and communication.Act as a servant-leader by identifying and removing roadblocks that hinder the team’s progress.Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders when necessary.Encourage team reflection on performance and help implement actionable improvements.Use metrics like team velocity, burn-down charts, and flow efficiency to identify improvement areas.Collaborate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to align the team with program goals and cadence.Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and ensure team contributions align with the objectives.Facilitate the team's participation in system demos and ART-level ceremonies and coordinate dependencies with other teams in the train.Actively engage in Scrum of Scrums meetings to report team progress, risks, and dependencies.Assist Product Owners in maintaining a clear, prioritized backlog.Ensure stories are well-defined, ready for development, and aligned with program objectives.Foster a culture of quality by promoting practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).Encourage team adherence to Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR).Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to team delivery.

Key Skills for a 5–7 Year Experienced Scrum Master in SAFe:Deep understanding of SAFe principles and ceremonies.Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.Advanced coaching and mentoring capabilities.Ability to manage multiple teams or a complex team environment.Effective communication and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.
