Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scrum Master with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, proficiency in Jira, and experience in creating and managing dashboards for tracking project progress and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of project goals.
  • Agile Process Coaching: Act as a servant leader and mentor to the team, fostering a collaborative Agile mindset and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Jira Management: Set up and manage Jira boards, user stories, epics, and tasks, ensuring proper documentation and workflow management to track progress.
  • Dashboard Creation & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards in Jira to provide visibility into team performance, sprint progress, and project health for stakeholders.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve blockers or impediments to progress, helping the team to stay focused and productive.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Help drive a culture of continuous improvement by collecting team feedback, conducting retrospectives, and implementing actionable insights to enhance team performance.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time, ensuring that team performance aligns with project goals.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks or issues and work with the team to mitigate them.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Jira Expertise: Proficiency in Jira, including board configuration, issue tracking, and dashboard creation. Experience with Jira Agile is highly preferred.
  • Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with a proven track record of applying Agile principles in real-world scenarios.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead and support team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and blockers and find creative solutions to resolve them promptly.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Experience creating and managing dashboards in Jira or similar tools to track sprint and project progress.
  • Certifications: Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is a plus.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting priorities as necessary.
