**About the Role**

Yuvo is hiring a Scrum Master to join our Product Team. The Scrum Master is responsible for managing our global agile teams as a supportive leader with extremely broad influence throughout the organization. In this role, the Scrum Master will ensure product and development teams’ adherence to Agile methodologies and scrum framework values, work to increase team efficiency, and provide motivation and guidance for process improvement. The person in this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a strong team culture and is excited by the opportunity to make an impact with tech-enabled solutions that support patients most critically in need of attention.

This is a partially remote position for employees based in India, preferably Chennai.

Travel approximately once a month if not located in Chennai.

**Requirements**:
**Responsibilities**
- Coach 1-2 scrum teams, with room for growth as we expand the organization, in self-organization, cross-functional skill set, and domain knowledge
- Host daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of projects, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that projects are on track
- Use the rituals and processes of the agile methodology (backlog refinement, retrospectives, sprint planning, etc) to continuously improve team performance and productivity
- Effectively and efficiently collaborate with the US-based Scrum Master
- Facilitate technical communications and information exchanges within the scrum teams
- Assist Product Managers to refine and maintain the backlog
- Track, manage, and report on resource planning and scrum health for each iteration
- Assist with QA testing by working alongside QA engineers to execute test scripts
- Monitor sprint progress with data and provide timely feedback through presentation modalities (meetings, status reports, etc)
- Operate as technical project manager to assist the Head of India Engineering and the Enterprise Architect Director as needed
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines and the team members know their specific roles

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience, or 5 years of product development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Proven ability to drive a culture of agility and learning
- Proven ability to ensure the team is meeting deadlines with the desired outcome
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Outstanding facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Exceptional communication (written and oral) skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
- Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc)
- Expert proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Presentation skills; comfortable speaking to groups of six or more people
- Proficiency in various process mapping and documentation tools (Confluence, LucidChart, Shortcut, etc)
- Detail-oriented and diligent

**Nice to Have Qualifications (Optional)**
- Experience working in an early stage startup
- Experience with Risk Adjustment and HEDIS
- In-depth knowledge of technology and health care terminology
- Experience working on global teams

**Benefits**

**Base Salary Range**: $28,000 - $32,000 (20 lakhs - 28 lakhs)
