Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC and SCADA systems, particularly in digital automation projects and machine safety using GuardLogix. The ideal candidate will lead the development, deployment, and support of industrial automation solutions in compliance with international safety standards, contributing to smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications


• Design, program, and commission Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLC systems.


• Develop and configure SCADA/HMI systems using FactoryTalk View ME/SE.


• Implement and validate GuardLogix safety PLC logic for machine and personnel safety.


• Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 13849, IEC 62061.


• Develop system documentation including IO lists, functional design specs, and FAT/SAT protocols.


• Integrate field devices and safety components (E-stops, light curtains, sensors, relays) via EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet.


• Support digital portfolio initiatives, enabling smart machine connectivity and diagnostics.


• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems for reliability and performance.
