Overview

The role of the Global Operations Delivery Leader involves overseeing the Wipro international Digital Marketing & Online Advertising Sales Services operations. These operations are outsourced to Wipro by the customer. The operations could be either located in multiple sites and or supporting several markets. Responsible for managing & mentoring the Site and or Market(s) operations leadership & liaising with internal & external teams to ensure best in class delivery. The GODL has ownership of Wipro operations delivery to the customer.

Job Description

• Lead operational delivery activities across the sites and or markets; own operations and work with account leadership, client commercial and business stakeholders to understand and support client needs and priorities ensuring optimal delivery.

• Ensure from a delivery POV we are compliant contractually

• Support the identification, escalation and resolution of risks and issues to ensure the best outcome for all parties.

• Engage in pre-award sales activities, engage in discussions with internal stakeholders regarding potential deal shaping and contractually deliverable outcomes

• Communicate clearly to influence internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to lead and take on multiple time-sensitive tasks at one time

• Responds to queries, emails, ensuring internal and external partners are managed, and operational metrics are tracked and reported

Manage communications to engage and comply with requirements.

Protect Wipro’s interests.

Be the primary POC for all deliverable engagements and matters for both Wipro and the client providing support and guidance to the account team and interacting with the client as required.

Bring in other stakeholders from the engagement team or from the wider business (e.g., Finance, Legal, Procurement) where needed to lead or contribute to specific matters.

Track SLAs and KPIs to understand Wipro and client obligations.

Work with the Audit teams and/or other stakeholders to ensure compliance and resolve interpretation.

Take proactive steps to detect and prevent non-compliance by Wipro.

Identify where changes are needed e.g. variation, renegotiation, scope change, new project order, new SOW, etc.

Proactively anticipate and manage ‘business as usual’ queries, to avoid them escalating.

Identify, collate, provide, and record the key information relevant to issues.

Work with internal stakeholders and the wider business to manage issues to resolution.

Understand the scope, work with the team to ensure or improve awareness levels of engagement teams on the scope and limitations of support and obligations.

Additionally, what you will do

Be responsible for forming and strengthening the global operations & delivery business relationship between Wipro and the customer through your experience in the Digital Marketing, Online Advertising sales service industry. Mentor and lead the Wipro operations team how they can help the customer (and advertiser) manage their digital media presence and partner relationships. Drive operationally, how Wipro can provide value and customer revenue through improving the advertiser experience on the Client platform. You will gain an understanding of where the customer and advertiser fit in the digital marketing eco-system and how Wipro can leverage your industry experience to provide a ‘best in class’s service. Identify the customer and advertiser goals. Bring focus on how the Wipro team can help advertisers usage of the customer platform.

Wipro is seeking a global operations leader to drive the engagement with the customer in identifying opportunities and developing solutions. This would involve working collaboratively with the customer team to develop, maintain, and grow relationships, troubleshoot and optimize strategy.

Objectives of this role

  • Drive global operations & delivery strategies and long-term vision to help Wipro build and provide a build best-in-class service to the customer and advertisers.
  • Help craft an operations & delivery vision (short- and long-term) and convert it to concrete strategy.
  • Partner with stakeholders, business owners and teams to build roadmaps offering the customer intelligence on how to develop and improve how their business operates on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Globally partner with internal Wipro stakeholders & external customers to manage the performance, ensuring that Wipro delivers on time and per expectation.
  • Partner with executive team to identify key capabilities needed as well as potential issues.
  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on operations performance, prioritization & delivery.
  • Help monitor and evaluate performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement, delivery value and revenue for the customer while winning for Wipro as well.

  • Work as partner with client stakeholders in driving business objectives
  • Ten years of experience in digital marketing industry or similar role
  • This person must have a customer-first mindset, have creative decision-making and problem solving skills and proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and business needs.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the digital marketing, online advertising sales services business or similar and how to operationally deliver for the customer.
  • Have the ability to develop data pipelines that can be used to track, analyse, and improve the customer’s success through operational delivery.
  • The role requires a candidate who has excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • This is a customer-facing and centric role, working to ultimately operationally translate the needs of advertisers into digital business opportunities for the customer.

  • Able to priorities and multi-task with strong negotiating skills
  • Passion for building great teams that deliver and delight customers.
  • Ability to report – Formulate, create, package and delivery findings with a clear message (outcome driven).
