Description SummaryWe are looking for 6-9 Years Mainframe Conversions Developer / Mainframe Modernization Engineer with mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, etc.) Requirements / Qualifications: Analyze existing mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, etc.) and understand their functional and technical design. Perform code remediation, optimization, and validation of converted modules. Execute data migration and validation tasks. Collaborate with U.S. and India-based teams for knowledge transfer, design discussions. Support automation of conversion and testing processes where possible. Prepare technical documentation and contribute to reusable conversion frameworks. Knowledge of open systems language such as Python and familiarity of AWS environments. Woking knowledge of Easytrieve programing is preferable Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Mainframe applications Produce detailed technical analysis, robust design and develop high quality code Create technical specifications from functional specifications produced by the business analysis team Maintain application documentation Define and adherence to programming standards Provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests Unit and integration testing of developed code and code reviews Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
