Want to be a part of our team?The Service Transition Manager is responsible for the transition of clients with medium to complex services engagements. This focus within this role is on achieving a successfully transitioned service to the agreed timeframe, costs and service outcomes.
Working at NTTKey Roles and Responsibilities:Implements, runs, governs and controls transition projects / programmes from inception through to completion.Manages client relationships and establishes positive relationships and constant communications with all internal stakeholders during a service transition project.Plans and facilitates engagement sessions with stakeholders in a service transition project.Manages and mitigates service transition risks.Manages client and internal escalations as per the standard NTT Ltd escalation processes.Reports on transition execution against the contracted planning and identify any major issues.Ensures handover for service execution and operational readiness validation has been successful.Supports new services through an Early-life-support model as required.Ensures that all service transition-planning projects meet objectives and timing. Handover risk register to service operations team.Manages virtual teams to deliver the planned outcome for transition and transformation projects.Manages thorough validation and testing of services provisioned as part of the transition.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:Proven track record of medium to complex Services Transition Management delivery within an IT environmentProven skills in Project and Transition ManagementExcellent ability to communicate and negotiate Excellent presentation and organisation skillsHighly analytical and data orientatedAbility to construct plans and schedules within a frameworkWorking knowledge of Project Management/ governance methodologiesAbility to think tactically with an understanding of the operations of a service delivery and operations business.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or similarRecognised Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)
Required Experience:Seasoned experience within Service Transitioning / Project managementSeasoned demonstrated experience in services transitioningSeasoned experience in project management within an IT environmentSkills SummaryData Analysis, IT Service Management (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM), Managed Services Delivery, Process Design, Project Management, Project Reporting, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management
