What You'll Do

• Team Collaboration and Inter-team Coordination: Be part of a 5-team infrastructure group working together; collaborate effectively with your team and cross-functional teams, including Architects, DevOps, SRE, and R&D, to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Leadership and Team Goals: Assume a leadership role in achieving team objectives, contributing to the design, architecture, development, quality, and production deployment of the team's systems.
• Backend Solutions: Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions for complex scenarios, ensuring high-quality output that can be utilized by other teams.
• Project Planning: Translate high-level business goals into actionable project plans for the team.
• Engineering Practices: Maintain and enhance the team's engineering practices by suggesting and implementing technological improvements and process enhancements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and proactively address areas for improvement in team systems, processes, and scalability.
• Code Quality: Lead by example in code quality, significantly contributing to code reviews and serving as a focal point for engineering excellence.
• Production Monitoring: Oversee production systems, investigate potential issues, and lead efforts to resolve critical challenges while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage deep, hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure, with a strong understanding of building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
• Leadership Under Pressure: Exhibit calm and effective leadership in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues under pressure.

Who You Are

• Experience: 5 + years of experience as a full stack developer, using C# .NET, REST APIs and TypeScript frameworks as Angular and React.
• Database Proficiency: 3+ years of experience with SQL (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Observability: 2+ years with observability systems (e.g., Dynatrace, Grafana, Coralogix).
• Managerial Background: Over 3 years of managerial experience in leading customer-facing product development—essential.
• Messaging Knowledge: Experience with messaging queues or streams such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
• OOP & Design Patterns: Broad knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Best Practices: Familiarity with engineering best practices (unit tests, code reviews, test coverage, agile methodologies).
• Teamwork: A strong team player with a passion for managing and nurturing talent.
• Ambition: Eager to learn and grow in the field.
• Education: B.E./BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.

Good To Have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience mentoring new hires and interns, fostering a culture of collaboration and best practices.
