Role Description
This is a Business Development role for Clinical Trials Company located in Bangalore. The role involves tasks such as lead generation, market research, and customer service. This is an on-site position.
Business Development Executive (1-2 year’s experience)
Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will support the sales and marketing team by identifying new business opportunities and assisting in promoting TrialGuna's clinical trial services in the nutraceutical and medical device sectors. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in clinical research markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify potential new markets and customer needs in the clinical trial space.
- Schedule and participate in business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote TrialGuna's products and services while addressing client needs and objectives.
- Assist in preparing sales contracts, ensuring adherence to established legal and company rules.
- Maintain and update sales records, including revenue and invoices.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support outreach initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the senior business development team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role in the clinical research or healthcare industry.
- Understanding of clinical trials, especially in the nutraceuticals and medical devices sectors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Business Development Manager (5-8 years’ experience)
Job Summary:
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead business growth initiatives, focusing on expanding TrialGuna's client base in the nutraceutical and medical device clinical trial markets. This individual will manage key relationships, identify strategic opportunities, and mentor junior team members. With 5-8 years of industry experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of clinical trials and the regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new markets, and customer needs within the clinical trials sector.
- Lead and participate in high-level business meetings with potential and existing clients.
- Promote and position TrialGuna’s clinical trial services, addressing the unique needs of nutraceutical and medical device manufacturers.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize sales contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee sales performance and reporting, including revenue tracking and forecasting.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior business development staff, helping them grow into valuable salespeople.
- Collaborate with the accounts, legal, and marketing teams to support client acquisition efforts.
- Work closely with hospitals, healthcare providers, and clinical sites to ensure the successful launch and execution of clinical trials.
- Act as a key liaison between TrialGuna and cosmetic, dermatology, and personal care organizations to promote clinical research services.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on clinical trials or the healthcare sector.
- In-depth understanding of the clinical research landscape, particularly in the nutraceuticals and medical devices sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in clinical trials (FDA, CDSCO, etc.) is an advantage.
- Salary: 20-24% hike on current salary
