We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the educational sector. This role is pivotal for someone with a strong background in EdTech or direct software sales to schools.


About the Role As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading the growth of Superr.app, focusing on forging new relationships and deepening existing ones with educational institutions. Your expertise in the EdTech industry will be crucial as you lead a team towards achieving ambitious sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the education sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with school administrators and key decision-makers.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals; set objectives, coach and monitor performance, ensuring high levels of engagement and achievement.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  • Employ effective selling strategies and techniques to influence customer decisions in complex scenarios.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, transactions, and progress using CRM systems.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ strategies to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Ensure the successful adoption and implementation of our products in schools by coordinating with customer support and product teams.


Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a relevant role within the EdTech industry or in selling software to schools.
  • Experience handling a sales team with a strong ability to mentor and motivate.
  • Proficient in CRM software and skilled in Management Information Systems (MIS) to optimize business processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
