About the Job:

Leading collaborative cost management efforts across Marketing, Customer Service, Technology Administration, and Employee Expenses, overseeing stakeholder management, robust cost tracking, AOP and forecasting discussions, driving AOP and forecast cycles, monitoring AOP targets, analyzing variances, facilitating cost optimization dialogues, reviewing provisions, aligning costs with functional heads, managing BU cost conversations, providing operational support, initiating cost-saving initiatives, and mentoring team for deliverables.


On a typical day you will drive the following:

  • Functional cost partnering for Marketing, CS, Tech, Admin, and Emp. costs, managing stakeholders and robust tracking of the cost, driving conversations for cost reviews and AOP and forecasting (end to end) partnering with the functional team.
  • Driving AOP and forecast cycles and closely monitoring AOP targets to support business decisions and deliverables.
  • Keeping a track of Actual expenses and aligning it with cost drivers for management review.
  • Review of Variances vs Targets and deep dive on the cost for MIS preparation and giving insights to stakeholders.
  • Driving meaningful conversations with the Stakeholders team for finding opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Reviewing the Provisions with teams at vendor level for the right tagging and provisioning for Management reporting for cost control.
  • Alignment of the cost with the functional heads and understanding their requirements and deliverables.
  • Managing conversations for BU cost with Business finance partner and giving them visibility of their cost with analysis and comments.
  • Standardizing formats and support to the functional team for Operational challenges.
  • Identifying cost saving initiatives and driving those initiatives with the team for end results and Management decision support.
  • Managing the team and mentoring them for team deliverables.

  • Analytical Proficiency: A strong foundation in financial analysis and cost management is essential. You'll need to excel in tracking and analyzing costs, identifying trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities, and providing meaningful insights to stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
  • Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Success in this role hinges on your ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across various functions. Building strong relationships, understanding their needs and priorities, and aligning cost management strategies with their objectives will be crucial for success.
