This job opportunity closely aligns with two key strategic pillars i.e., “Unlocking Synergies and Creating a Future Ready Organization”. The role is responsible for Group Financial Analysis & Planning which includes inter-alia managing Group MIS & Short–term planning and quarterly/annual communication to the Audit Committee / Board on the financial performance of the Group. Providing support to the Investor/Shareholder communication team. The role would also be responsible for managing the Long term Planning (Annual Budget / Medium Term Plan) process for the Group.


Financial Outcomes


 Ownership of monthly management reporting of the Group

1. Analysis and interpretation of performance of the Group KPIs and key trends (Profitability/Balance Sheet/Cash Flows) with actionable insights.

2.Monthly update on the key watchouts / trends on the performance of the various regions based on the review meetings.

3. Peer group benchmarking and performance over time

 Short Term Planning

1.Preparation of Short term planning analysis for SLT to manage budget delivery

2.Highlighting risk and opportunities and actionable mitigation plans

Communication to Audit Committee & Board

1. Preparation of the audit committee and board deck for communication of Group’s performance (quarterly / annual)

2.Preparation of board deck for communication of performance on UK Group

 Long term Planning - Managing the end-to-end process of Annual budget and medium term plan


Customer Service


Annual Report – Annual Performance commentary for the group and the key businesses and review of the financial information

Annual General Meeting – providing finance/analysis support to the Secretarial team which includes drafting of finance section of Director Report and MD&A.

Investor Relations and Strategy / M&A team – Finance support to on a continuous basis


Internal Processes


 Alignment / standardization of Management reporting across group units

 Managing any change in KPI’s across Group


Innovation and Learning


 Play a key role to implement faster reporting through automation (dashboarding)


What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

 CA / MBA Finance

 10+ years of relevant work experience

 Familiarity with accounting / reporting systems and BI tools for reporting

 Should be working in an FMCG environment.


What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

 Should be comfortable operating in an International environment as the role would have interactions with business and finance teams across the Group in various geographies.

 Strong quantitative and analytical competency with clear understanding of various financial and non - financial performance assessment parameters.


Complexity of the role:

Highly Complex Performance analysis due to multiple categories within branded and non- branded business and presence across various geographies and Working closely with finance and FP&A teams across the Group
