About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean architecture, writing robust code, and optimizing backend performance.


Note: We are not looking for candidates from JavaScript/Node.js backgrounds — expertise in other backend technologies is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases.
  • Architect scalable solutions and contribute to system design discussions.
  • Optimize performance and ensure system reliability, security, and fault tolerance.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in one or more non-JS backend technologies, such as:
  • Java / Spring Boot
  • Python / Django / FastAPI / Flask
  • Go / Gin
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.


Good to Have:


  • Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit/integration tests.
