The ideal candidate will ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across all exam-related processes while adhering to university and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Planning and Scheduling - Develop and manage the academic calendar for all examinations. - Coordinate with various departments to design a comprehensive examination timetable. - Arrange examination centers, seating plans, and required infrastructure, including support for students with special needs. Examination Conduct - Oversee secure preparation, receipt, and storage of question papers. - Appoint, brief, and supervise invigilators and examination staff. - Ensure strict compliance with UGC regulations and university rules to eliminate malpractice. Evaluation and Results - Appoint qualified examiners and ensure timely, accurate evaluation of answer scripts. - Compile, verify, and publish examination results within stipulated timelines. - Oversee the issuance of grade sheets, transcripts, and degree certificates. Administration and Compliance - Maintain comprehensive documentation of all examination processes and outcomes. - Address student grievances and appeals related to examinations. - Ensure confidentiality and security of examination materials and data. - Stay updated with guidelines from regulatory bodies (e.G., UGC) and implement them effectively. Reporting - Provide periodic updates to the Vice-Chancellor on examination activities and performance. - Prepare and present detailed reports to the Academic Council on results and key actions.
