About us :

Charge Zone- is the fastest growing EV startup , with an integrated technology and engineering capabilities to build EV Charging Networks, specializing in high-speed charging networks for electric buses/trucks and electric cars across the enterprise and the retail network on both dedicated and opportunity-based charging using smart-grid networks.

Headquartered at Vadodara (Gujarat, India), we have spearheaded the fast-charging infrastructure with indigenous development of the technology of mobile-app and CMS with firmware/web-socket cloud-based computing for super-fast EV charging.

ChargeZone is on a green mission to establish one million charging points across important markets of EVs in India for all 4W categories of vehicles including cars, buses and trucks.

Recent Highlights :


- Secured investments from Macquarie Capital, an Australian global financial services group for network expansion.

- Set up solar energy powered ultra-fast charging station in Mumbai in collaboration with Audi.

- Partnerships with all leading automobile OEMs like Audi, Hyundai, TATA, Kia etc.

Responsibilities :

- Determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or existing applications


- Mentor and coach junior development team members

- Solve the most difficult software development challenges

- Establish frameworks for the development of software that will result in high quality solutions

- Maintain balance of business and technical acumen in decision making

- Prescribe source-code management and work item tracking best practices

- Prescribe the estimation process

- Provide consultation to development management team

- Responsible for the high-level decisions in the software development process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards.

- Identify and leverage tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.

- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility and contribute by developing application code as needed.

- Prescribe standards and guidelines and will act as a consultant to other architects, developers and leadership teams and must demonstrate quality, brevity and timeliness in all deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills :

- 8 to12 years professional experience performing software development architecture activities and setting direction

- Master knowledge with respect to the following : JavaScript (jQuery and ReactJS), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Relational Databases & NoSQL Databases, Web Services (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST), NodeJS 18 and above.

- Master knowledge of toolsets such as: Build Tools: VSTS Online/TFS, TeamCity, Jenkins, Bamboo

- Source Control: Git or like

- Work Request Systems: TFS, Jira

- Master knowledge of SDLC Methodologies: Agile, SCRUM, use of architectural patterns/frameworks

- Ability to collaborate, validate and prioritize requirements for projects and request


- Ability to properly assess and articulate risk

- Educational Qualification :


B.tech or higher in computer science/technology field preferred or equivalent industry experience

- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and regulations preferred (PCI, PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, ADA, etc
