Title - IT Asset Management Analyst

Work Location - Hyderabad

Experience -  3-5 Years

Job Type - Fulltime (100% onsite - Work from office)

Shifts - Flexibility to support in US & UK shift

CTC - Will be decided based on experience, skillset & client interview

Reports to : Global Asset Manager

Must Have Skills - IT Desktop/Chat/Voice Support Experience & Excellent verbal and written English Communication

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA, BSc. etc..) in Computer Science or any related field
  • Advanced knowledge and 3 to 5 years of experience in Asset Management methodology.
  • ITIL v4 certified (Preferred, not essential)
  • Experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining new asset management process
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of computerised inventory control system (SAP/CG4/Ariba and Service Now).

 

Role Summary

  • Responsible to track and manage all IT hardware assets globally, their warranties and maintenance, throughout their lifecycles.
  • Interfaces with other Asset Management processes such as Configuration Management, as required with respect to IT asset data
  • Experience of supporting and driving adoption of ITAM strategies on a global basis
  • Should thrive in a fast-paced international environment, being able to meet short deadlines.
  • Autonomous, proactive, self-driven, deliverable-focused, organized, and structured attitude is essential
  • Flexible approach to working hours due to international nature of role/function

 

 Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that Company assets have been tagged.
  • Provide training and mentoring of colleagues in asset management process
  • Track and manage all IT hardware assets globally, their warranties and maintenance, throughout their lifecycles.
  • In conjunction with accounting functions, track all IT fixed assets on a global basis
  • Tracks all assets and maintains global lease agreements within ServiceNow
  • Coordinates global virtual or physical audits of all IT hardware
  • Manages the safe and secure disposal of assets
  • Performs reconciliation with IT asset records in the ITAM repository to fixed asset repository
  • Communicates effectively with internal parties when necessary
  • Generates business and management reports as requested
  • Assists in resolving service Task / Requests originating from customers and internal organizations concerning fixed asset management issues
