Position Title: Manager QMS and Training

Reports To: Sr. General Manager
Position Overview:
Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: TS16949 / ISO9001 / ISO14001 / PED / TPG / IBR / Marine certifications), accreditation requirements, Customer audits.
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
- BE Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering with min 12 years of experience preferably in an Iron foundry as Management Representative (MR)
- Valid Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 with sufficient audit experience as Internal / Lead auditor.
- Experience of dealing with customers, Certification bodies, Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements for key milestones, demonstrating solid progress against plan.
- Liaise with external bodies on all matters relating to registration. Maintain and improve, in line with business needs.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies / Business needs and are properly implemented and properly communicated across the Organization.
- Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS ensure the NCs are properly addressed and closed.
- Hold periodical Management Review Meetings within the business.
- Measure department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports and work for achieving the targets and identify actions for improvement
- Motivate, Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
