Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing government bills, specifically for departments such as CPWD, DDA, and PWD. The Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Government Bills: Prepare and submit accurate bills for CPWD, DDA, PWD, and other government projects, ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and formats.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all billing activities, including work measurements, progress reports, and certification of bills.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and ensure timely billing.
  • Verification: Verify quantities and rates with the project scope and contract specifications, ensuring all billing details are accurate and justified.
  • Compliance: Ensure all billing processes comply with government regulations and standards, including timely submission and follow-up on bill approvals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular billing status reports to management, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any billing disputes or queries raised by clients or government bodies promptly and efficiently.
  • Software Utilization: Utilize relevant software and tools for billing preparation and management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of (X) years of experience as a Billing Engineer, with a strong focus on government projects (CPWD, DDA, PWD).
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of government billing procedures, formats, and regulations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in billing software, MS Office Suite (especially Excel), and AutoCAD.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and verifying bills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing issues efficiently.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
