You will be working as Warehouse Specialist at global grade 15 and will be part of Motion business area for IEC LV Motors division based in Faridabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to Warehouse or Internal Logistics Specialist and will be responsible to oversee raw materials store or warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store and dispatch products, systems and services to customers.
Your responsibilities- Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet store demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow. Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks. Coding and preparing proper receipt or dispatch paperwork
- Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities. Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary
- Optimizing store capacity, inventory and floor utilization. Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
- Supervising and assisting in daily store and shipping areas. Ensuring stock accuracy through periodic stock take and/or cycle counting
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity and Key Performance Indication (KPI) targets are met
- Maintaining standards of health and safety. Ensuring quality environmental objectives are met
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in handling store Engineering goods
- Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
