Role & responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts

Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and record-keeping.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual

financial statements.

  • Finalization of year-end books and coordinating with auditors for statutory submissions.
  • Maintain branch-wise accounting controls and monitoring systems.
  • Lead organization-wide annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Conduct client-wise and branch-wise budgeting and profitability analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial targets are

met.

  • Provide insights through data analytics for decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including GST, TDS, Income

Tax, ROC filings, etc.

  • Timely filing and compliance of all statutory returns.
  • Handle internal and external audits with a focus on transparency and integrity.
  • Liaise with tax consultants, statutory/internal auditors, legal advisors, and bank officials.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
  • Optimize fund utilization across the organization and branches.
  • Evaluate and mitigate financial risks.
  • Monitor and control procurement processes with a focus on cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure financial discipline in sourcing

and payments.

  • Implement and continuously improve robust internal financial controls and SOPs.
  • Lead ERP system optimization and support its implementation for improved accuracy and

efficiency in finance operations.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team.
  • Drive upskilling, training, and performance management to build a high-performing finance

function.

  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, branch heads, and senior leadership for financial

planning and decision-making.

  • Interact with clients for financial discussions including billing, reconciliation, profitability, and

relationship management.

  • Maintain strong banking and financial institution relationships for funding and operational

requirements.

Preferred candidate profile


• CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.


• Minimum 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.


• Strong technical knowledge of finance, taxation, and accounting principles.


• Proven experience in multi-location finance operations, preferably in logistics or 3PL

environments.


• Knowledge in ERP systems, financial analytics tools like Tally etc., Power BI, looker MS Excel.
