Position : Senior ACCOUNTANT Location : Goregaon, Mumbai Industry Preference : BFSI Experience : 5+ years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the organizations core financial activities. This role will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and guiding a small team of junior accountants. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and can collaborate with cross functional teams while maintaining a strong command over accounting principles and compliance mandates. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly cash flow forecasts • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny • Manage direct and indirect tax compliances – GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns and reconciliations • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders during audits • Lead the budgeting process, monitor expenses, and perform variance analysis • Assist in capital raising processes and manage share allotments, ESOPs, and cap tables • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and financial policies • Strengthen internal financial controls, approvals, and documentation processes • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and finance assistants Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com ) – CA Inter or M.Com preferred - Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including team supervision - Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and working knowledge of finance software - Strong understanding of Indian tax laws (GST, TDS, IT) and compliance requirements - Experience with audits, budgeting, and cash flow management - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and integrity - Effective communicator with leadership mindset What We Offer • Opportunity to work at a fast-growing fintech-insurtech startup • Leadership visibility and cross-functional exposure • Supportive and innovation-driven work environment • Career growth in compliance, audit, and strategic finance roles Interested candidates can share resume on
