RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.Design program specifications aligning to coding best practices for efficient system performancePerform program coding and testingJIRA/ Confluence updatesUser Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.Regulatory & Business ConductDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: (Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.) *Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.Other ResponsibilitiesEmbed Here for good and Group’s brand and values, Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)Our Ideal CandidateField of StudyComputer Science/Information Technology & related fieldsCertificationBachelor of Science or higher.Working experience in Lending Systems.Must possess at least 10+ years’ experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z/OS and mainframe environmentGood analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects.Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.Knowledge/skills in API, SOLACE, JAVA Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantageRole Specific Technical CompetenciesCOBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVSCICSJAVA/ APICredit card system working experienceWorking experience in agile project deliveryEasytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor
