The group is also into utility scale projects with 200 MW+ on-going projects. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the execution of solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of solar project management, from design and engineering to procurement, installation, and commissioning. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of projects while maintaining the highest technical standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage solar project execution from conceptualization to commissioning. This includes site assessment, design, procurement, installation, and testing phases. Oversee the design process, including electrical system design (AC/DC system), sizing of arrays, selection of components (inverters, PV modules, transformers, etc.), and preparing detailed design documents. Supervise the site installation process, ensuring that the system is installed as per design specifications and standards. Ensure successful commissioning of projects and prepare as-built drawings. Lead the project execution team, providing guidance, ensuring resource allocation, and managing on-site coordination between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure that all projects comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines. Address any issues and provide timely solutions. Liaise with clients, various authorities providing regular updates on project progress and addressing technical queries or concerns. Oversee project performance post-installation, providing recommendations for system optimization and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate project documentation including reports, plans, technical specifications, and compliance certificates. Submit regular progress reports to clients and senior management. Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, from design to installation, and manage any unexpected technical challenges. Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, including electrical components, designs, and industry standards. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing solar or renewable energy projects, including direct experience with the EPC process. Familiarity with solar design tools like PV-Syst, Helioscope, and other relevant design tools. Familiarity with Indian solar standards, government policies, and industry regulations.
