Job Summary:

The Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business strategies, and managing the sales team for the pharmaceutical distribution business. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to expand distribution networks, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities, clients, and market segments for expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, .
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth distribution.
  • Drive product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives in coordination with principals.
  • Regularly review sales performance, prepare MIS reports, and present to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations in sales operations.
  • Train and mentor the sales team to enhance skills and productivity.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Pharmacy / Science / Commerce (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum
    10–15 years of experience
    in pharma sales & distribution, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong connections with pharma retailers, hospitals, and institutional buyers.
