Job Summary: The Finishes Lead – Civil is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil finishing activities on-site, ensuring high-quality execution in alignment with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. With 15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects, the candidate will lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and contractors to deliver superior finishes across structural and architectural elements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Execution & Supervision: - Lead and manage all finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, false ceiling, façade, and other architectural finishes. - Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. - Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams for seamless integration of finishes. 2. Quality Assurance & Control: - Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections. - Resolve non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. - Review and approve mock-ups and samples in coordination with consultants and clients. 3. Planning & Scheduling: - Develop detailed work schedules and resource plans for finishing activities. - Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of milestones. - Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. 4. Team & Contractor Management: - Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors. - Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews. - Ensure workforce productivity and compliance with safety norms. 5. Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and approvals. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review. - Assist in billing and quantity verification for finishing works. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s preferred). - Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction with a strong focus on finishing works. - Proven track record in managing finishes in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of materials, techniques, and industry standards. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
