Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – LabWare LIMS to lead the technical architecture, development, and implementation of LabWare LIMS solutions. This role involves overseeing LIMS configurations, customizations, and integrations, while ensuring adherence to best practices, regulatory standards, and business goals. The Technical Lead will guide a team of developers and consultants and act as the primary technical authority for LabWare LIMS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for LabWare LIMS across all phases of the SDLC (design, development, validation, deployment, support).
• Leads and performs the rollouts LabWare v8 LIMS components and workflows.
• Develop and review LIMS Basic code and custom scripts for enhanced system functionality and integrations.
• Design and implement interfaces between LabWare LIMS and external systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP), CDS, MES, and instruments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, QA, and validation teams to align technical solutions with business and compliance requirements.
• Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices within the LabWare environment.
• Lead and mentor a team of LabWare developers and technical consultants, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Support system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and oversee resolution of system incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system design specs, technical SOPs, and change control records.
• Stay up to date with LabWare product updates, new features, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS development and architecture.
• Proficient in LIMS Basic and LabWare scripting.
• Experience in designing and implementing LabWare LIMS modules including stability, ELN, environmental monitoring, and sample management.
• Strong background in system integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, instrument interfaces).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex LIMS projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LabWare 8 or LabWare v7/SaaS/Cloud.
• Familiarity with LabWare ELN and mobile interfaces.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of SQL, XML, JavaScript, or other scripting languages used in LIMS customization.
• Prior experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or diagnostics industries.
