Join Western Union as a Senior Manager, Program Management – Hyderabad TEC.Western Union powers your pursuit.This role, Senior Manager, Program Management – Hyderabad TEC is responsible for providing project and program management support to the Director, Strategy & Operations Head of India TEC's Strategy, Transformation and Governance, across all areas of responsibility within Technology and working with key senior stakeholders in India, the region and globally.Role ResponsibilitiesProgram Execution:Govern program plan for the end-to-end delivery of the workforce transformation program, encompassing Internal Function (Technology, HR, TA, facilities, Physical Security, Facilities, Compliance) and Vendor OrganizationMaintain comprehensive program roadmap, detailed project plans with clear dependencies, and robust risk mitigation strategiesProactively identify, track, and resolve complex dependencies and systemic impediments across Internal Function teams and Vendor OrganizationOversee vendor program management resources, including those operating under Build-Operate-Transfer models, ensuring alignment with program objectives and deliverablesEstablish and maintain a rigorous program governance framework, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirementsCo-create and implement a comprehensive change management strategy to ensure successful adoption of the transformation program across the organizationMatrixed Team Collaboration & Communication:Facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across a highly matrixed, global team, including Internal onsite and offshore resources and Vendor OrganizationDrive alignment and consensus among vertical track stakeholders, including functional heads, and external vendorDevelop and deliver clear, concise, and timely program status updates to all stakeholders, including executive-level reportsIdentify and address communication gaps, proactively manage issues, and provide support to teams navigating conflicting prioritiesPlanning & Delivery:Lead the planning and execution of program phases, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelinesPartner with functional leaders to define and prioritize program deliverables, ensuring a focus on delivering measurable business valueOversee the development and tracking of transition plansCoordinate with HR and TA teams to ensure smooth transition of workforce, and that the new workforce model is being implemented correctlyCoordinate with facilities and physical security teams to ensure the physical infrastructure is ready for the changing workforceWorkforce ManagementManage workforce plans with functionsManage transitions to consolidate vendor staffManage transfers to BOTFinancial & Compliance Oversight:Manage program budgets and financial resources, ensuring adherence to financial governance and reporting requirementsEnsure that all financial and compliance requirements are being met by the vendors involved in the BOT modelMentoring and Best Practices:Provide expert advice, coaching, and mentorship to project managers and team members.Drive the adoption of best practices in program management, change management, and vendor managementRole Requirements12+ years of progressive experience in program management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex transformation programsExtensive experience managing programs involving technology, HR, talent acquisition, facilities, physical security, compliance, and financial governanceDemonstrated expertise in managing vendor relationships, including Build-Operate-TransferStrong understanding of change management principles and methodologiesProven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, global teams in a matrixed environmentExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management environmentsProficiency in project management tools, such as Jira, Jira Align, and ConfluencePMP, Agile, SAFe, or other relevant certifications are highly preferredExperience with onsite and offshore teamsExperience with large scale work force transformationWe make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
