Responsibilities Develop and implement the organization's automation strategy, aligning it with business objectives. Lead the infrastructure automation team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and execute an automation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and optimize infrastructure management. Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and tools to streamline infrastructure management processes. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and maintain infrastructure health, performance, and security through automated solutions. Identify and implement best practices for infrastructure automation, focusing on reducing manual tasks and minimizing downtime. Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, tools, and infrastructure configurations. Conduct regular reviews of automation tools and practices to ensure they meet current and future needs. Work closely with developers, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment on automation initiatives. Communicate complex technical concepts and automation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Act as a point of escalation for infrastructure-related issues that require automation expertise.

Qualifications we seek in you Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Good experience in automation engineering or a related field, with experience in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience in leading automation initiatives in cloud and on-prem environments. Strong experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Familiarity with configuration management, monitoring, and logging tools.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences. Leadership qualities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.G., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate). Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices.
