Job Description
Position: Executive - Marketing & Communications
Work Location: CIT Nagar, Saidapet

The primary objective of the Executive Marketing & Communications is to strategically manage and enhance the institution's marketing and communications efforts to achieve specific goals in admissions management, alumni relations, social media marketing, marketing collaborations, creative content development, and website content management. This role aims to boost student enrollment, foster strong alumni connections, elevate the institution’s brand presence, and ensure consistent and effective communication across all channels. By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative marketing strategies, the Executive Marketing & Communications will contribute to the institution's growth, visibility, and overall success.


Major Responsibilities

ADMISSIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract prospective students.
  • Manage and utilize the No Paper Forms (NPF) system to streamline admissions workflows.
  • Manage and optimize the admissions funnel, from lead generation to enrollment.
  • Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with enrollment goals.

 

ALUMNI RELATIONS

  • Maintain an updated alumni database and leverage alumni connections for institutional benefits.
  • Foster strong relationships with alumni through regular communication and engagement activities
  • Organize alumni events, reunions, and networking opportunities.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance the institution’s online presence.
  • Create and manage content for various social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

 

MARKETING COLLABORATION

  • Establish and manage partnerships with external organizations for joint marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with academic departments and other internal stakeholders for collaborative marketing efforts.
  • Represent the institution at external events and conferences.

MARKETING CREATIVES

  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, videos, and advertisements.
  • Ensure all creative content aligns with the institution’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and other creatives to produce high-quality marketing materials.

WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

  • Manage and update the institution’s website content to ensure it is current and engaging.
  • Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility.
  • Implement and manage workflows for content creation, approval, and publication.

ANALYTICS & REPORTING

  •  Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using various analytics tools.
  •  Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities and outcomes.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve marketing strategies.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
  • Proven track record in admissions marketing, social media management, and content development.
  • Certifications in Google Ad words and Google analytics is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing analytics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
