Roles &Responsibilities:

To workfor the Connectivity Delivery Center to ensure efficient deliveryof the projects in Core Networks area.

Workwith Project Managers to create Low level design for the project byfollowing engineering standards.

SolutionsEngineer is responsible for ensuring that any designs produced arein line with the current network architecture and infrastructurestrategy documentation and are fit for purpose.

Be responsible for endtoend delivery of the Projecttasks.

Work with global teams to achievedesired outcomes.

Contribute to the managementof risk to ensure.

Compliance to regulatory andmandatory policies

Audit findings and IssueAssurances are fully addressed Key Accountabilities

Takes full responsibility to ensure the infrastructurecomponent strategy of complex most critical and usually most costlycomponents meet the business requirements within the clientsbudget.

Contribute to the definition ofinfrastructure strategy and policy.

Will assistthe Lead Network Engineering Technologist to ensure that networkinfrastructure initiatives adhere to the roadmap.

Working with designers Project Service Architects andArchitecture Governance & Standards for input and to understandand influence changes in architectures policies andstrategy.

Candidate will work with Barclaysinternal stakeholders and with external vendors to achieve hisproject objectives.

Timely update and whenevernecessary timely escalation of issues to rightstakeholders.

Accurate estimation of workloadand timelines for delivery. Decisionmaking and ProblemSolving

Candidate should have excellentanalytical skills and problemsolving capabilities.

He should be confident enough to take decisions in duecourse of a project either to improve the deliveries or to avoidany delays or issues in the delivery.

Ensurethat all activities and duties are carried out in full compliancewith regulatory requirements EnterpriseWide Risk ManagementFramework and internal Barclays Policies andStandards
