Job Description – Social Media Marketing Team Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Team Lead to oversee our brand's social media strategy, execution, and performance. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, team leadership, content expertise, and data-driven decision-making to strengthen our online presence, increase engagement, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify target audience segments and optimize campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media specialists, content creators, and community managers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, PR, and product teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage agency and influencer relationships when applicable.
  • Content Creation & Campaign Management
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, platform-specific content (text, image, video, reels, stories, etc.).
  • Plan and execute paid and organic campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Tiktok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Implement social media calendars and ensure timely execution.
  • Analytics & Performance
  • Track, measure, and report on KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversion, and ROI.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Community Management
  • Oversee brand reputation management on social platforms.
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries, and manage escalations effectively.
  • Drive brand advocacy and build meaningful online communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid social, influencer marketing, and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in B2B and B2C industries.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and email marketing is a plus.
