Job Description :

As an ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and supporting ABAP-based applications and solutions in SAP S/4 HANA environments.

Your role will involve creating reports, interfaces, data migration, and enhancements using the latest ABAP methodologies and tools.

You will work closely with functional teams to meet business requirements and ensure smooth execution of SAP processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop ALV Reports for various business processes.

- Create and maintain interfaces using EDI/IDOC, BAPI, Web Services, and ABAP Proxies to integrate SAP with external systems.

- Perform data migration activities using the SAP Migration Cockpit for efficient data transfer.

- Implement system enhancements using BADI, User Exits, VOFM Routines, and BTE for custom functionalities.

- Design and customize Smartforms and Adobe Forms for reporting and document generation.

- Build and enhance Core Data Services (CDS) Views, CDS Extensions, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for advanced data modeling and reporting.

- Develop and expose OData services for SAP UI5 and Fiori applications.

- Follow new ABAP coding standards in SAP S/4 HANA environments.

- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in ABAP development to optimize performance and scalability.

Secondary Responsibilities (Nice-to-Have Skills) :

- Configure Fiori Tiles for improved user experience and application launch in SAP.

- Generate reports using SAP Analytics Cloud for data visualization and insights.

- Develop Adobe Forms with fragments to improve form flexibility and management.

- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and ABAP Restful Application Programming (RAP) for modern cloud-based ABAP development will be a plus.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in SAP ABAP development and S/4 HANA.

- Strong knowledge of ALV Reporting, Interfaces (EDI/IDOC, BAPI), ABAP Proxies, and Web Services.

- Experience in data migration using the SAP Migration Cockpit.

- Expertise in enhancements using BADI, User Exits, VOFM Routine, and BTE.

- In-depth experience in Smartforms, Adobe Forms, CDS Views, and OData Services.

- Knowledge of New ABAP coding standards from an S/4 HANA perspective.

- Solid understanding of OOPS programming and Object-Oriented concepts in ABAP.

Additional Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Fiori Tile Configuration.

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting.

- Familiarity with SAP BTP, especially ABAP Restful Application Programming (RAP).

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
