Job Description : Senior Associate SAP ABAP Consultant (4-8 Years Experience)

Location : Bangalore / Mumbai

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Associate SAP ABAP Consultant with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP ABAP programming, along with experience in SAP HANA and implementation projects. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative SAP solutions that drive business efficiency and transformation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and enhancements based on business requirements.

- Create and optimize complex reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) to ensure high performance and reliability.

2. SAP HANA Integration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP HANA solutions, focusing on data modeling and performance tuning.


- Leverage HANA capabilities such as SQL Script and Calculation Views to enhance data processing and analytics.

3. Implementation Projects :

- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

4. Solution Design :

- Engage in solution architecture discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, efficient, and innovative SAP solutions.

- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes and new initiatives.

5. Technical Documentation :

- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, testing plans, and user manuals, to ensure clarity and knowledge transfer.

- Maintain version control and documentation for all ABAP developments and enhancements.

6. Support and Maintenance :

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing ABAP programs and SAP HANA solutions to ensure system integrity and performance.

- Collaborate with the support team to resolve issues and implement continuous improvements.

7. Mentoring and Training :

- Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in ABAP development and SAP HANA.

- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team capabilities and improve overall project delivery.

8. Collaboration :

- Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

- Actively participate in project meetings and status updates, providing insights on technical challenges and progress.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-8 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP HANA.

- Proven experience in at least two full SAP implementation lifecycles.

- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming techniques, including Object-Oriented ABAP and enhancements.

- Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and integration processes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP, HANA) are a plus.
