In EU Capacity Planning (EUCP)we cover every aspect of contact center planningfor the Customer Service Associate (CSA) planning cycle. This ranges fromstrategic long-term planning of required headcount to short-term tacticalplanning through to real-time management. EUCP is pivotal to the ongoingsuccess of Amazon CS as we deliver innovative solutions to complex planningproblems. As business partners to the operational, finance, and projectstakeholders, EUCP plan for nine separate countries across Europe throughmulti-site networks across internal and outsourced locations.
Our team consists of more than 60 team members located in nine countriesglobally. Our network is growing in both scale and complexity, and we needsmart, innovative individuals to help us design market-leading tools andprocesses to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding customer base.
Put simply, we start with our customers and work backward using hard data andcustomer anecdotes.

About You:
We are looking for highly motivated, analytically-minded team members who haveexperience in contact center planning and are looking for the next challenge intheir careers. The role would also suit capable analysts with transferrableskills (e.g. supply chain planning, logistics background) who have a desire tolearn new skills and apply their analytical mindset to the role. You will be aconcise communicator who is able to quickly build collaborative and effectiveworking relationships across a large and complex contact center network.
You will be able to think long and short-term and demonstrate the ability toinfluence the decisions of senior business leaders by being able to “tell the story” using data analysis, logical reasoning, and the presentation ofalternatives with known trade-offs.

Key job responsibilities

About the Role:
The EU Headcount Planning role is responsible for the operational contact centerheadcount planning for multi-site, worldwide, internal, and outsourced CS sites.The Headcount Planner will be responsible for one of the EU countries within the EUCS.
The planning cycle in this role ranges from one week to four years with amonthly planning cycle that iterates to year-end based on forecasting andstaffing changes. The planner will utilize Amazon’s in-house planning system tocreate and optimize staffing plans which are cost-effective and balance theneeds of our Customer Service Advisers with the demands of our customers.
The key goals of the role are to ensure effective staffing plans areimplemented with a network strategy that enables scalable flexibility to coverthe volatility of customer demand. Deep dive analysis on productivity metricsand recommendations on hiring requirements or cross-training requirements willbe a core part of the role.
On top of this, the planner will dive deep into ambiguous contact center issuesand create innovative solutions that can be scaled across all regions andbusiness areas. This project side of the role requires collaboration acrossmultiple teams and gaining support and buy-in for implementing changes inprocesses and reporting.
This role will be based out of Bangalore or Hyderabad. This is a highly visiblerole and one that is ideal for an experienced contact center planner with acapacity planning background.

 Qualification & Skills Required

• Experience in planning for contactcenters across multiple sites and countries
• Requires a degree in statistics, engineering, mathematics, economics orrelevant discipline
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment bycombining analytical rigor and judgment
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, enthusiasm to drivepositive change and persuasive ability
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (ability to presentdetailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable in dealing with large amountsof data
• Experience utilizing SQL, VBA

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in various WFM planning tools
• Application of data mining/machine learning algorithms is preferred
• Experience with making large scale optimization and predictive models arepreferred
• Some programming experience is a plus to automate tools whenever appropriate
• Experience in an operations management role will be an added advantage.
