Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica Developer with deep expertise in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) . The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and governing enterprise data assets, ensuring data quality, and enabling business users to access trusted data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Informatica CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) .
  • Establish and maintain Informatica Catalog connections with SAP HANA , Tableau/Power BI , Python/Informatica ETL , Databricks , and Databricks Notebooks .
  • Configure and manage Databricks Unity Catalog to ensure structured and secure data management.
  • Define and implement business glossaries and data quality rules , ensuring metadata is well-governed and accurate.
  • Tag, classify, and document data assets to improve discoverability and usability across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to ensure alignment with data governance processes and standards.
  • Provide best practices, guidance, and mentoring for junior team members on data governance and cataloging processes.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica CDGC is a must.
  • Proven knowledge of data governance frameworks and processes .
  • Experience integrating Informatica Catalog with SAP HANA, BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), Python ETL , and Databricks .
  • Proficient in setting up business glossaries, data quality rules, and metadata tagging .
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Informatica certifications in CDGC or related tools.
  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data governance projects.
