About This Team
Our team oversees TechnologyMonitoring across the Enterprise. Our responsibilitiesinclude
supporting onboarding training and management ofour services. We collaborate with our
vendors of Splunkand Datadog to provide observability for a Technology department ofover
NA0 members. We drive the maturity of our Technologyteams by establishing and tracking
best standards for ourplatforms.

We are looking for a motivatedengineer to become a core member of the ObservabilityTeam
helping guide the organization to both improve thepractice and to contribute to developing
our strategyroadmap and execution here.

As a successfulcandidate for this role you will support application teamsmigrating to Datadog
using APM Infra and Serverlessagents ensuring our standards and best practices are metand
working with key stakeholders to improve ourdocumentation standards and practices. Finally
the roleworks with multiple internal teams including vendor TAMs to resolveissues and
empower our end users.

ADay in the Life:

Support our teams withinstrumentation of Datadog ensuring our onboardingprocess
and best practices are adopted
Providefeedback to key stakeholders about challenges blockers oropportunities to
streamline the way we work
Work with Datadog s support and TAM to resolve implementationissues

Experience:
Hands on experiencewith Datadog APM Infra serverless and RUM (Real UserMetrics)
Experience in migrating app serversObservability solution agents or rolling out mass
updatesusing Ansible or Terraform
Hands on experience inimplementing and configuring an Observability solution in
Kubernetes
Experience with opensource projects such asPrometheus Grafana Loki ELK Stack
Open Telemetry andtools such as CloudWatch AppDynamics New Relic Splunk and
Dynatrace
Familiar with complex time seriesconcepts
Familiar with high availability backend systemsand services
Must demonstrate a sense of ownership toplan execute and drive the product
deliverables tosuccessful completion and be successful in a collaborativeenvironment
Experience with agile developmentmethodologies Test Driven Development (TDD) and
CI/CD isa plus
Ability to think innovative and contribute to thesuccess of the products processes and
customerexperience
Excellent decisionmaking communication andcollaboration skills
Knowledge of:
o PII / CCPA/ GDPR rules
o Enterprise Single SignOn
oDocker and Kubernetes
o Atlassian Suite tools
oCloud Solutions
o Terraform or Ansible

Qualifications
College degree in computerscience/engineering or related field
Minimum 4 years ofexperience with Observability solution
Minimum 2 years ofexperience with rule and advanced logic creation withinDatadog
AppDynamics New Relic Dynatrace Prometheus oranother Observability tool
A proven history of deliveringquality results on complex crossfunctional projects

Analytical and problemsolving capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able tocommunicate with a
wide variety of audiences bothbusiness and technical
