About This TeamOur team oversees TechnologyMonitoring across the Enterprise. Our responsibilitiesincludesupporting onboarding training and management ofour services. We collaborate with ourvendors of Splunkand Datadog to provide observability for a Technology department ofover1000 members. We drive the maturity of ourTechnology teams by establishing and trackingbeststandards for our platforms.

We are looking fora motivated engineer to become a core member of the ObservabilityTeamhelping guide the organization to both improve thepractice and to contribute to developingour strategyroadmap and execution here.

As a successfulcandidate for this role you will support application teamsmigrating to Datadogusing APM Infra and Serverlessagents ensuring our standards and best practices are metandworking with key stakeholders to improve ourdocumentation standards and practices.

Finallythe roleworks with multiple internal teams including vendor TAMs to resolveissues andempower our end users.

Support our teams withinstrumentation of Datadog ensuring our onboardingprocessand best practices are adoptedProvidefeedback to key stakeholders about challenges blockers oropportunities tostreamline the way we workWork with Datadog s support and TAM to resolve implementationissuesExperience:Hands on experiencewith Datadog APM Infra serverless and RUM (Real UserMetrics)

Experience in migrating app serversObservability solution agents or rolling out massupdatesusing Ansible or TerraformHands on experience inimplementing and configuring an Observability solution inKubernetesExperience with opensource projects such asPrometheus Grafana Loki ELK StackOpen Telemetry andtools such as CloudWatch AppDynamics New Relic Splunk andDynatraceFamiliar with complex time seriesconceptsFamiliar with high availability backend systemsand servicesMust demonstrate a sense of ownership toplan execute and drive the productdeliverables tosuccessful completion and be successful in a collaborativeenvironmentExperience with agile developmentmethodologies Test Driven Development (TDD) andCI/CD isa plusAbility to think innovative and contribute to thesuccess of the products processes andcustomerexperienceExcellent decisionmaking communication andcollaboration skillsKnowledge of:

o PII / CCPA/ GDPR ruleso Enterprise Single SignOnoDocker and Kuberneteso Atlassian Suite toolsoCloud Solutionso Terraform or AnsibleQualificationsCollege degree in computerscience/engineering or related fieldMinimum 4 years ofexperience with Observability solutionMinimum 2 years ofexperience with rule and advanced logic creation withinDatadogAppDynamics New Relic Dynatrace Prometheus oranother Observability toolA proven history of deliveringquality results on complex crossfunctional projectsAnalytical and problemsolving capabilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills.
