Job description Job description ROLE: Group Assistant Manager Finance LOCATION: Bangalore TYPE: Full-time, permanent REPORTS TO: Group Finance Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Reporting: o Prepare monthly closing and schedules of several entities in multiple jurisdictions in adherence to Group accounting policies. o Assist in the preparation of the Group Annual Report and monthly group supporting schedules.

• Intercompany: o Prepare monthly intercompany entries for the Group. o Generate and process intercompany invoices accurately and in a timely manner. o Ensure compliance with internal billing policies and procedures. o Perform monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

• VAT Filing: o Ensure timely and accurate preparation of VAT returns in compliance with tax regulations. o Review financial transactions to identify VAT implications and ensure proper documentation.

• Treasury Operations: o Oversee treasury operations, including processing payments weekly, managing bank accounts and users. o Prepare weekly liquidity reporting of the Group's cash position

• Internal Audit: o Evaluate operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities in production, inventory management, procurement, and distribution. o Review compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and address potential gaps. o Identify fraud risks, conduct investigations, and implement anti-fraud measures in collaboration with stakeholders to enhance fraud prevention efforts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
• Proven experience as Financial Accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience in MS Business Central 365 would be a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Embracing start-up culture, ambitious but down-to-earth, ability to learn fast
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high work ethics and can-do spirit
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
