Assistant Manager – Group Consolidation

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented professional with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in group financial consolidation and reporting, with strong expertise in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing monthly consolidation processes, supporting statutory and management reporting, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial consolidation process in Oracle Hyperion HFM.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Perform intercompany eliminations, currency translations.
- Coordinate with subsidiaries and business units to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data.
- Conduct variance analysis and reconciliation of consolidated results.
- Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with IFRS or applicable GAAP.
- Assist in the enhancement and automation of consolidation processes and reporting structures.
- Provide system support for Hyperion HFM, including metadata maintenance, rule updates, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external consultants to implement system improvements or changes.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and provide analytical support to senior management.
Experience Required
- 4 to 5 years of proven experience in financial consolidation and reporting for a multi-entity/multinational organization.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management is mandatory.
- Experience in financial statement preparation and intercompany reconciliation.
- Familiarity with consolidation tools, reporting systems, and data validation processes.
- Exposure to audit processes and working in a shared services or corporate finance environment is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA).
- Certification or training in Oracle Hyperion or financial reporting tools is an advantage.
