Job Title: Head- Research and Development

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated *Enzyme Technologist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality industrial enzymes, from strain isolation and production process development to scaling up at the plant level. This position will play a crucial role in both the research and development (R&D) of new enzyme technologies and the optimization of existing processes, ensuring that they meet commercial-scale production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strain Isolation & Development*

• Conduct strain screening, isolation, and optimization for high-yield enzyme production.
• Work with molecular biology techniques for strain improvement and characterization.
• Evaluate microbial performance and stability in enzyme production.

2. Enzyme Production Process Development

• Develop and optimize fermentation and purification processes to ensure high enzyme yield, stability, and efficiency.
• Scale up lab-scale processes to pilot and commercial-scale systems.
• Establish protocols for enzyme stabilization and formulate strategies to enhance enzyme shelf life.

3. Scale-Up and Commercial Production

• Lead the scale-up of enzyme production from laboratory to industrial scale, ensuring consistency and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and optimize fermentation, purification, and enzyme stabilization processes to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth transitions from R\&D to full-scale manufacturing.

4. Process Optimization & Troubleshooting

Continuously improve existing enzyme production processes by analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.

Identify and resolve process-related issues that impact enzyme yield, quality, and cost-efficiency.

5. Research & Development (R\&D)

• Lead or contribute to R\&D projects aimed at improving enzyme formulations and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in enzyme technology and biotechnology.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the production, quality control, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
