Title: Head of Sales

Location - Mumbai / Delhi
Job Summary: As the Head of Sales , you will be responsible for leading and executing our sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base within the target market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and extensive industry connections within the customer service domain.
1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
• Identify key market segments and develop tailored sales approaches to effectively penetrate target markets.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
2. Sales Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
• Set clear sales targets, provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
3. Client Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize retention and upsell opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations to generate new business opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions to drive value.
4. Industry Networking and Business Development:
• Leverage existing industry connections and networks to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise company visibility and build relationships with potential clients.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and positioning.
5. Sales Process Optimization:
• Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement sales tools and technologies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market feedback to ensure continuous product improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles, preferably within the SAAS or technology industry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
• Extensive network of industry connections within customer service departments and related fields.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a sales team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with clients.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
