Role OverviewTaegis Endpoint Agent is cross-platform product and a vital part of our XDR platform. The agent plays the crucial role of detecting malicious behavior and other activities to feed data into the cloud for further threat analysis. With the help of threat intelligence gathered by our world class security researchers and powered by amazing threat analytics platform we are able to detect threats and secure our clients infrastructure.We are looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer with good knowledge of Windows systems to drive the next-generation endpoint capabilities of our new product offerings. You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with an experienced, cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, and security experts to develop our next generation endpoint sensor that seamlessly integrates with our cloud-native security analytics platform. If you love computer security and digging into complex engineering challenges, then we want your help securing human progressRole ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop software with high concurrency and reliability requirements and low/no impact to end users.Project technical leadership and participate in designing the architecture, strategy, and development of next generation threat detection and response capabilities.Follow Test-driven Development and design/implement with cross platform deliverables (Linux, macOS, Windows).Triage, reproduce, debug, and fix issues identified in the product.Build tools to support team efficiency and contribute to test automation.Ensure high standards are being followed when it comes to design, coding quality, along with unit and component testing.Work effectively on a geographically distributed team to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.

Must Have SkillsStrong experience and knowledge with C++ (17/20/22).Proficiency in Windows OS User-mode and Kernel-mode Development.Solid knowledge with low-level OS internals and experience with Win32 APIs.Experience in debugging and solving application crashes, performance optimization.Experience developing applications using concurrency with the use of strong multi-threading.Preferred SkillsKernel mode development (minifilter, WFP, NDIS, IFS)Experience with Windows CI/CD including installers, updaters, packaging, and signing.Experience with software security areas including encryption, authentication, offensive and/or defensive techniques.OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystemsFamiliarity and experience with Agile processGood knowledge and experience working with WFP filtersExperience working with Cloud applicationsExperience with Malware research and reverse engineering is a plus
