WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS JOB:

The Engineer, Fleet is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves working with a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs and engines, developing solutions to maintaining the safety of PSA's fleet, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement,

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

• Provide engineering support for a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions
• Analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components
• Develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation
• Coordinate with FAA for approvals and warranty recovery on Service Bulletins (SBs)
• Review SBs from airframe and component manufacturers for effectivity to PSA Fleet
• Provide 24/7/365 Engineering support for the PSA Liaison Engineering team on a rotational basis
• Other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadership
• Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters

ALL YOU WILL NEED FOR SUCCESS

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field
• FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with FAA regulations and guidelines or equivalent experience
• Experience with project management tools and software

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software

LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
