Job Opportunity: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

This position involves working with a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines to develop solutions for maintaining the safety of our fleet.

The engineer will analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components. They will also develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation.

  • Provide engineering support for aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines.
  • Analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components.
  • Develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies for approvals and warranty recovery on service bulletins.
  • Review service bulletins from manufacturers for effectivity to our fleet.
  • Provide 24/7/365 engineering support for our liaison engineering team on a rotational basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
  • FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with regulatory guidelines and equivalent experience.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.

  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
