ENGINEER, FLEET

The Engineer, Fleet is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves working with a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs and engines, developing solutions to maintaining the safety of PSA's fleet, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement,

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

Provide engineering support for a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions

Analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components

Develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation

Review SBs from airframe and component manufacturers for effectivity to PSA Fleet

Provide 24/7/365 Engineering support for the PSA Liaison Engineering team on a rotational basis

Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

~ Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

~3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field

~ FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

~ Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

~5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field

~ Experience with FAA regulations and guidelines or equivalent experience

~ Experience with project management tools and software

Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
