Role Overview:

As the CFO & Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in securing and managing investor relationships, overseeing financial management, and shaping our financial strategy. This equity-based role provides a unique opportunity to significantly impact the company's direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investor Relations:
    Identify, engage, and onboard potential investors. Build and maintain strong relationships with angel investors, venture capitalists, and other stakeholders.
  • Fundraising:
    Lead fundraising efforts, develop financial models, and prepare compelling pitches to secure investment.
  • Financial Strategy:
    Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our growth objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Management:
    Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Equity Management:
    Manage equity distribution and capitalization tables, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with other co-founders and team members to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Video Concept Creation:
    Collaborate with the video editor to develop and approve concept videos that effectively communicate our vision to potential investors and partners.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Financial Acumen:
    Strong background in financial management, fundraising, and investor relations.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    Ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Relationship Building:
    Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:
    Self-motivated and adaptable, with a passion for driving growth in an early-stage startup environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, investor relations, or a related role, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and investor engagement.
  • Strong understanding of equity management and financial compliance.
