Role Overview
Responsible for company sales strategy in India market that meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives. Comply with regulations and standards and protect the organization’s public reputation. Accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals of the organization. This role provides direction and leadership to the sales team while responsible for the customer satisfaction. Building & maintaining an effective & productive team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy Planning/ Market Development
• Prepare action / strategy plans and schedules to achieve business plan.
• Develop an operational plan which incorporate goals & objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization.
• Implement the strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company.
• Work closely with Corporate Marketing to design and execute pre-agreed strategies built in the region.
• Establishing of contacts and good connections to the key opinion leaders in the field of cataract surgery.
• Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
Sales
• Develop & execute sales strategy for team members to deliver results.
Budget Planning
• Work closely with Managing Director for sales planning.
• Sales budget and expense budget planning for annual, quarter, and mid-term.
Leadership to related team:
• Manage, motivate, develop, coach and train team members.
• Closely monitors daily activities of sales team.
Expense Control
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Requirements
Experience
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in the sales function in the field of ophthalmology in the assigned area, Comprehensive knowledge in business practice in IOL, good organization and administrative skills, excellent attention to details, high degree of professionalism and integrity is essential, ability to demonstrate initiative and leadership, ability to persuade and influence others.

• Excellent skills on MS Word, Excel, Power point etc.
Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master’s preferably in Science or Optometry
